What Is the Essential Range?
The Essential Range covers flat pads from 300×300mm to 600×600mm, recessed pads from 400×400mm to 500×500mm, and stowage kits in three sizes. Load ratings from 5 tonnes (300mm pad) to 25 tonnes (500×500×60mm recessed). All UHMW-PE. All UK stocked.
Flat Pads →
300mm to 600mm. For MEWPs, scissorlifts, cherry pickers and HIABs with standard outrigger feet. Lightweight, easy to handle, carry handle built in.
Recessed Pads →
400mm to 500mm. Machined recess holds the outrigger foot in place, preventing sliding on slopes or uneven ground. Ideal for van-mounted platforms and smaller lorry loaders.
Stowage Kits →
300mm, 400mm and 500mm kits with galvanised holster and locking pin. Two pads plus holster in one package. Designed to mount on the vehicle so pads are always on the machine.
Hi-Viz Variants →
Essential Range pads also available in high visibility yellow. For public areas, pedestrian zones and roadworks where being seen matters.
Who Is It For?
The Essential Range is the right choice for any operator running MEWPs, scissorlifts, cherry pickers or HIABs. These machines have lower outrigger loads than mobile cranes, so you do not need a 1000mm premium pad. The Essential Range gives you the right level of support at a price that makes sense for lighter duty work.

Same Material, Lighter Duty
The Essential Range uses the same UHMW-PE material as the premium range. It does not absorb water, does not rot and does not lose its load rating over use. The difference is size and load rating, not material quality. A 300×300×30mm Essential pad rated to 5 tonnes is the right tool for a 3.5 tonne scissorlift. A 1200×1200×80mm premium pad has a manufacturer-listed pad capacity of 126 tonnes and may suit heavy applications, subject to verified outrigger load and ground-bearing calculations.
